Individual Sessions

The work I do uses a powerful blend of techniques chosen from the areas of Positive Psychology, Mindfulness Meditation, Strategic Intervention Coaching, Yoga, and Eriksonian Hypnosis.  The focus is on facilitating changes you want to make in your life as soon as possible, such as:
  • feeling stuck in life
  • improve public speaking
  • bad habits and addictions
  • creativity blocks
  • stress, anxiety, fears
  • achieving peak performance
Additionally, I use Eriksonian Hypnosis to work on a range of medical issues, such as reducing your perception of pain, getting rid of hot flashes, and helping you sleep well.
You can achieve lasting, dramatic behavioral changes in a short time, often within 3-6 sessions, generally conducted one or two weeks apart.  Sessions (or workshops) may include work in any or all of the following:
  • Relaxation Training:  you'll learn a variety of easy methods to immediately feel more relaxed and calm, ranging from ancient breathing exercises to the latest cutting-edge techniques coming out of the field of Neuroscience.
  • Eriksonian Hypnosis : Hypnosis helps you harness the resources of your subconscious mind to resolve anxieties, find solutions and achieve goals you deeply desire. Have you ever been so absorbed in an activity that you lost track of time and the outside world? That’s what hypnosis feels like.
  • Mindfulness  Meditation:  The latest research shows that practicing mindfulness meditation can help you cope much better with your daily stress, can significantly improve your physical health, and help you live more joyfully and productively.  Practicing just 10 minutes per day can lead to powerful results. You can practice it in your home or workplace.
  • NeuroLinguistic Programming:  Used in the US since the 1970s, NLP is a toolbox of quick, easy techniques that help you use your brain in better ways. It follows the premise that deep down you already have the information and resources to solve your problems.
  • Yoga:  Yoga is meditation in motion scientifically proven to be physically and mentally therapeutic.  I work with Gretta Jacobs, who can teach you simple  techniques for any level, whether beginner or advanced.  Private sessions are available, as well as group classes
  • You will also receive exclusive audio recordings to listen to each day, so you can keep your progress going.
I'm available for a free email or phone consultation if you have any questions about working with me, or if you'd like to make an appointment.

How Sessions Work
Each session lasts 45-60 minutes at my Providence, RI office, which is located near Brown University.  I also work with clients via Skype.  Be sure to wear comfortable clothing that you can feel relaxed in.

The first session begins with a discussion of the changes you would like to make.  Based on your needs, your  sessions may include a personalized blend of Positive Psychology, Mindfulness Meditation,  (NLP), and/or  Hypnosis.
Plus, you will have quick and easy ‘homework’ to conduct between sessions – such as a two-minute meditation you can do in any quiet spot.
I'm available for a free email or phone consultation if you have any questions about working with me,
or if you'd like to make an appointment.
